about
My name is Madina Bulegenova. I am born and raised in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Since a young age I love learning languages: Kazakh and Russian at home and at school, English starting at pre-school, German at high school, Chinese at my university and Dutch since 2014. In 2015 I moved to the Netherlands.
I have a Master degree in International Law, have studied both in Almaty and Moscow and have had internships in New York and Berlin. In 2014 I obtained a diploma of Specialist of English in Law from PFUR, Moscow.
I fell in love with the Dutch language from the very beginning and since my Dutch kept getting better in the years living and working in the Netherlands, I decided to become an interpreter in 2018. I enrolled in SIGV (Institute of Court Interpreters & Translators), Netherlands, for a course ‘Interpreter in Criminal Matters’. A year later I graduated successfully and became a sworn interpreter from Dutch to Russian and vice versa.
In 2020 I graduated from the SIGV (course ‘Legal Translation’ from Russian to Dutch and vice versa) and working as a sworn translator as well.
